There is a saying that states “Love what you do, and you never have to work a day in your life.” This is so true! It’s important to be passionate about what you do. It gives you value, self-worth, confidence and best of all, ‘you love it’.
I love that I get to be in a business that supports others and that allows not only myself, but those around me to follow their dreams.

I have always had a drive to succeed, to grow and to give my best at whatever I put my mind to. This business gives me the opportunity to always be challenged and to continue to find ways to succeed.

Being a successful business woman to me means being flexible and overcoming challenges, building confidence, embracing your abilities, and not letting fear hold you back from pursuing your dreams.
For me, a successful woman in business is the one who balances her work-life and carves her path with total confidence and passion. An empowered woman is the one who makes her life and the lives of people around her better, in every way.

I have been in hospitality management and operations for over 15 years and have experienced many different facets of business that the service industry presents. One of the key pillars in that industry, is how you treat others. That has served me well in many different ways.
I became a mom in 2013 and found my work/life balance by shifting to part-time when my son was born, and continued when I had my daughter in 2015. This time allowed me to focus on what was important, and that was nurturing them when they were babies. Now, both my kids are in elementary school and I have more time to focus on my career while continuing to balance the importance of being a wife and a mom.
My husband and I own and operate the business together. We quickly found out each other’s strengths and weaknesses and essentially ‘divided and conquered’ our roles at hand, in order to operate our business to the best of both of our abilities. This has helped us both provide a balance and also helped us to support each other and grow our business together.
Family is love and support. In that giving to others, you improve their lives while also improving yours. It also lays the groundwork for you receiving love and support when you need it. If you are launching a business and taking the risks that go along with it, you will need that love and support.

Success can be measured in many ways. For me, success is measured by growing your business, reaching your goals, balancing your life, supporting others, living a healthy lifestyle, and always finding time for adventures. The more you find balance between work and life, the more you will succeed at what you are doing.

It’s important to find independence and confidence within yourself. Always pursue your dreams and vision and don’t let anyone hold you back or tell you that you’re not good enough. Surround yourself with those that support you and provide positive energy.
You can always do what you put your mind to. You will be challenged along the way; you will want to give up at times and other times you will feel the highest of highs.
Stay strong, stay focused and follow YOUR path.
