March is Women’s History Month, a time to honor the accomplishments and contributions of women throughout history. At the Small Business Diversity Network (SBDN) March Mixer, we had the pleasure of celebrating Women’s History Month and meeting inspiring leaders who are making history today. Join us in raising a glass to women’s empowerment!
One of the incredible leaders we had the privilege of meeting was Martha Daniel, founder and CEO of IMRI. Her journey from segregation to success is a true inspiration, having founded IMRI, a thriving business, and making history as the first black woman to serve on the executive committee of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.
At the SBDN March Mixer, we also came together with small business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders to network, learn, and celebrate the progress of women in business. It was a powerful evening of sharing stories, building connections, and empowering one another to reach new heights.
We extend our gratitude to SBDN, Advance Beauty College, OCTA, and all other organizations involved for making this an exceptional and empowering night. Their commitment to supporting small businesses, as well as promoting diversity and inclusion, is truly inspiring.
As we celebrate Women’s History Month and continue to push for progress and equality, it’s important that we support and uplift each other. Let’s continue to build strong networks, share our stories, and empower each other to achieve our goals.
Thank you to everyone who attended the SBDN March Mixer and helped make it such a successful and empowering event. We look forward to continuing to support and uplift each other in our business and personal journeys. Together, we can achieve anything!Â
